(Take a photo of your animal, note date&time, record its GPS values if available, then make a rough hand sketch of any details in the area of its location.)
Using this application, insert the photo of your exotic animal, stored on your computer, at it's location on the world map.
If you do not know its name, others will help identify it.
Also draw shapes on the world map to customize your map showing details of its location.
Shapes are: circles, ellipses, rectangles, text, paths, and polygons.
After you have added your photo and location details, select 'Add Your Animal Map' button.
Viewers of your map can contact you via your email address for questions or answers
about your exotic animal.

Drawing SVG Shape Elements On World Map
SVG shapes are: Circles, ellipses, rectangles, text, paths, polygons, and images.
These shapes can be added to your map to pinpoint animal locations.Paths - Both linear and curved paths can be created by clicking their points on the drawing. Drag any point to modify its shape.
Paths segments also include geographic data:
Shadows - Each element can be selected to include a drop-shadow.

The creator of a map can their map:
•Elements can be edited/deleted/added to the map.
•The *boundary of the map can be changed.
•The title can be changed.
•The animal name can be added/changed.
•The commentary can be changed.
* Zoom map in/out.
You can also your map from the library.
Note: The map can be edited or deleted only by its creator.
Each map can be published into a web page or iframe. Select to create
the HTML source:
This will take a 'snapshot' of the current World Map view that includes your photo, and its location details you have added to the World Map.
Provide a title, discovery date, animal name, plus commentary for the map and your email address
Selecting will remove your photo and elements. You may start over or quit creating your map.
Selecting will store the current map view and its added location details into the Map Library.
You can use a GPS unit to precisely locate your animal.
Select the checkbox to display the GPS crosshairs. You can move the cursor to the desired location, then right-click mouse button to fix its GPS value and center the map initially at the GPS point.
Also, you may insert a GPS value and select its associated 'go' button to set the crosshairs and center the drawing at the GPS point.
Note: If crosshairs are set when you select 'Add Your Animal Map' button, the GPS value will be included in your map's commentary.
